Field visits to clients

Most of our clients currently live in Niamey, the capital of Niger. Our team makes field visits to our clients regularly to check on the progress of their businesses and provide mentorship and coaching. Visits during the rainy season can prove challenging as many areas can become cut off due to flooding. Almost 80% of Niger is covered by the Sahara Desert and most roads are unpaved, making many of them, particularly the smaller neighborhood roads, unpassable when it rains. Field visit related costs include travel related costs including gas, time from our staff, water and snacks for Duha client meetings, photography and videography costs for capturing client stores, etc.
